Ingredients
- 1 cup gyoza wrappers
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup Napa cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
- Water (for steaming)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by mixing ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
- Take one gyoza wrapper and place about one tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold to create a half-moon shape; pinch to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place gyoza in rows and fry for about three minutes until golden brown on one side.
- Carefully add half a cup of water to the skillet, cover immediately with a lid, and steam for about five minutes until cooked through.
- For dipping sauce, mix soy sauce and rice vinegar in a small bowl. Serve gyoza hot with the sauce.
