  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add melted butter to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about eight minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size—approximately one hour.
  5. Punch down the dough, roll it out into circles, layer with cinnamon sugar filling, cut into wedges, twist them into star shapes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Let shaped bread rest for an additional fifteen minutes before baking for around twenty-five minutes until golden brown.
