Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (regular or panko)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil (for greasing the baking sheet)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard (if using), and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Brush each fillet with the butter mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, pressing gently to ensure it sticks.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy. The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
  • Serve the Parmesan Crusted Salmon with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
