Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium oranges
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped

- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon citrus juice (lemon or lime)
- Optional: mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Oranges:
- Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the tops off each orange to create a lid. Make sure to cut straight across.
- Scoop out the insides of the oranges with a spoon, being careful not to puncture the skin. Save the orange segments for the filling.
- Chop the Fruit:
- In a mixing bowl, chop the reserved orange segments into small pieces.
- Add the chopped strawberries, diced pineapple, diced kiwi, and halved grapes to the bowl.
- Mix the Filling:
- Drizzle honey (if using) and citrus juice over the fruit mixture.
- Gently toss the fruits together until evenly coated.
- Carve Faces:
- Use a small knife to carve jack-o-lantern faces on the front of each hollowed orange. Get creative with your designs!
- Fill the Oranges:
- Spoon the fruit mixture into each hollowed orange, packing it in lightly to prevent spilling.
- Serve:
- If desired, replace the tops of the oranges for a charming touch.
- Arrange the filled oranges on a festive platter and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
- Enjoy:
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for a few hours before serving for the best flavor and freshness.
