Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips: Opt for high-quality white chocolate for the best taste and smooth melting.
  • 1 cup dried cranberries: The tartness of dried cranberries balances the sweetness of the white chocolate.
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped: Chopped pecans add a rich, nutty flavor and a delightful crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract: Enhances the flavor of the chocolate.
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional): A touch of sea salt can heighten the sweetness and flavors of the clusters.

Instructions

  • Melt the White Chocolate: Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each session, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted. Be cautious not to overheat to prevent burning.
  • Combine Ingredients: Once the white chocolate is melted, add the dried cranberries, chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and sea salt (if using). Stir the mixture well until the cranberries and pecans are evenly coated with the melted chocolate.
  • Form Clusters: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart to avoid sticking. Aim for evenly-sized clusters for consistent serving portions.
  • Chill the Clusters: Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator. Chill the clusters for about 30 minutes, or until they are firm and fully set.
  • Serve or Store: Once the clusters are set, gently remove them from the parchment paper. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or in the refrigerator for longer shelf life.
