  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup Warm water Around 110°F
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone inside.
  6. Punch down the dough, then roll it out to your desired thickness.
  7. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet, add toppings, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
