Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
Filling
  • 1 cup shredded roast beef
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  2. Place a spoonful of roast beef and cheese on each square.
  3. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges.
  4. Place the pockets on a baking sheet and brush with beef broth.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm with additional beef broth for dipping.
