  • 500 grams bread flour
  • 350 ml water room temperature
  • 100 grams sourdough starter active
  • 10 grams salt

Method
 

Making the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the bread flour and water, and mix until no dry flour remains.
  2. Add the sourdough starter and salt, and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First Rise
  1. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for 4-6 hours at room temperature.
Shaping and Second Rise
  1. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a baking pan.
  2. Cover and let it rise for another 2-3 hours.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Let it cool before slicing.
